Searching the Web, I found no Work Family Association, no Work Family Newsletter, no Work surnames.
This year we are going to try to fix that. That fall of 1988 after finding a wealth
of information about the Work Family, my brother and I made plans to try to publish an
updated version by 1993. By our calculations that would have been the 300 year
anniversary of our ancestors' arrival in the New World. One thing lead to another
and almost ten years later I am happy to say that the original author of the most
comprehensive history of the Work Family, did publish an update, though my only
contribution was encouragement to my brother. He sent in our records for that
updated version.
Did you ever try to do research on the Work Family? Kind of frustrating to pull
up all those references to 'work and family life', 'my e-mail address at Work', etc.,
isn't it.
Well, here's the Work Family Association.
All of you wandering Work Family members are cordially invited to join. And here is
the Work Family Newsletter.
I need your assistance to have real news about what events are taking place in our
lives in the here and now. Want to leave a message, visit the: Work Family Message Board .
I have also requested and recieved the most wonderful page on
, the Work Family Genealogy Forum. Your
prompt response has been wonderful!

Cyndi's List now references this website
in the temporary submissions page for September,
1998, and judging from the backlog, it may be a few more months before we will have a
listing in the Surnames section. (As of present still waiting) Please visit Cyndi's List if you haven't before, as Cyndi
Howells is the most amazing, tireless, dedicated genealogist of all the Web
developers out there. |
Hope you enjoy this site. Please let me know.
